END TO RETRIBUTION?

In Sunday's Fastlane Kickoff, we had Riddle defend the WWE United States Championship against Mustafa Ali, and after the defeat the RETRIBUTION leader was abandoned by Reckoning and Slapjack and then attacked by Mace and T-Bar with a Double Chokeslam. 
However, the end of RETRIBUTION serves to remove Mustafa Ali from WWE television programs, so that he can be operated on for a knee injury he suffered a few months ago. 
Mustafa Ali had said in an interview, already this March, that he was struggling with an injury to the posterior cruciate ligament of his left knee and should now be operated on. The injury occurred as early as December 2020, but Mustafa Ali managed to put up with an injured injury until Fastlane.
