205 LIVE (06/08/21)

WWE broadcast this Friday, on the WWE Network and after SmackDown, another edition of its weekly program dedicated to the Cruiserweight division, 205 Live. As a main event we had a match between NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida and Ari Sterling, who had an opportunity for the Japanese title at stake. Kushida ended up winning via submission and Ari Sterling not only won't have a title shot, he's been fired in the meantime.

The other match on the show was between Leon Ruff and Grayson Waller. Despite the victory of the former, this one also ended up being fired from the WWE during the night of this Friday.
