NEW TOURNAMENT

After several weeks of rumors, during this Friday's SmackDown we finally got confirmation that the WWE will be holding two major tournaments, one male and one female, over the next few weeks. 

 The company has announced that on next week's SmackDown on October 8th, and that it will be a season premiere special, we will have the long-speculated King of the Ring and Queen's Crown tournaments kicking off, which will continue later on the following Monday's Raw, on October 11th. 

 It is not yet known which Superstars will participate in the tournaments, but the promotional video appears: Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Drew Mclntyre, Seth Rollins, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, Finn Bálor, Carmella, Rhea Ripley, Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax, Naomi, Zelina Vega, Liv Morgan and Eva Marie.

The final date for the King of the Ring and Queen's Crown has not yet been announced, but it is speculated that they will take place at the Crown Jewel on October 21st in Saudi Arabia.
