IRON SURVIVOR CHALLENGE

During this Tuesday's NXT, Shawn Michaels announced the Iron Survivor Challenge for the next big event, Deadline on December 10th.

It was already known that the Hall of Famer would make a big announcement at this show, so it was speculated that it would be the Iron Survivor Challenge, due to WWE having registered the brand recently.

Five Superstars will compete in a unique 25-minute match, as they battle each other and the clock. Two Superstars will start the fight and every five minutes a new star will enter the fight, until all five are in the ring.

The objective is to have the most number of wins when the clock strikes 25 minutes. Victories can be earned at any time by pinfall, submission or disqualification. When a Superstar scores a victory, they earn a point.

However, when a Superstar loses, they are penalized. These are forced out of the ring and into a penalty area for 90 seconds. When the 90 seconds are up, the Superstar can re-enter combat.

The Superstar with the most wins when the clock hits 25 minutes will be named Iron Survivor and will become the top contenders for the NXT Championship and NXT Women's Championship, respectively.
