ALL THE TIMES WWE DIDN'T FINISH THEIR STORIES (TOP 6)
Over the years WWE has given us stories and epic moments with endings memorable and exciting that are unforgettable and remembered until today, but WWE has also made stories that simply had no ending and no conclusion, thus leaving a vacant and open space in our minds of how this story would end. Today we are going to bring you a top 6 of all the times that WWE has brought history with simply no endings.
BRAY WYATT VS. FINN BALOR
The 2017 match between Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor, in which Wyatt was to wear the Sister Abigail mask, was canceled due to the fighter's illness. Before that, both had started a rivalry in 2017, in which Wyatt always lost to Balor, whether common or with paint. Tired of losing, Wyatt decided to wear the mask, but the match never took place and Wyatt was replaced by AJ Styles. The rivalry did not end.
THE NEW ALEISTER BLACK
In 2020, Aleister Black was playing a dark character, with references to Undertaker, who told his story differently in backstage segments, but ended up being fired by WWE, which frustrated fans who saw potential in the character.
UNITED STATES CHAMPION DOLPH ZIGGLER
In 2017, Dolph Ziggler won the American title, but abandoned it during a show, saying that the public did not deserve a champion like him. When he returned, at the Royal Rumble, he was quickly eliminated and the story was left open, with no concrete outcome.
THE MIZ VS. DEXTER LUMIS
During a rivalry between The Miz and Dexter Lumis, in which Lumis claimed that Miz owed him money, a fighter named Bruce Wild appeared, who entered the rivalry for money. The purpose of combat was to climb a ladder. The rivalry got personal and ended up becoming real.
THE FIEND VS. RANDY ORTON
Bray Wyatt began feuding with Orton in late 2020, in a rivalry that seemed to have ended at the Caixão Fight at TLC and Orton managed to win the match, burning Wyatt's body. When the feud seemed to be over, Alexa Bliss began feuding with Orton. Meanwhile, The Fiend was missing, but returned and a match between Orton and The Fiend was scheduled. The match took place, but the ending was surprising, with Alexa Bliss betraying The Fiend, distracting him and causing Wyatt to lose to Orton at WrestleMania. However, shortly after Wyatt was fired, the feud that began between Alexa and Wyatt never happened, as Wyatt was fired after WrestleMania.
SETH ROLLINS AND HIS STABLE
In 2019, Seth Rollins had finally turned heel after being booed by the crowd. WWE had the idea of making him become leader of a group, which seemed to have a lot of potential, it was a very dominant team, Rollins was very hype at that time, since he had become leader over Kevin Owens.
The character seemed interesting at first, with that more serious style, looking like a mobster. Afterwards, he started to get into that Messiah character we know, and Rollins looked like it was going to be something big as he had one of the strongest duos at the time on his side the AOP and was recruiting other members, like Buddy Murphy. Out of the blue, AOP was fired, so the story WWE was building with Rollins and AOP had no ending. Rollins followed with other members in the stable, such as Murphy and Theory, who was later reputed. But the story that WWE was building with Rollins and AOP, we never knew what was going to happen. Thus, Seth Rollins ended up being nerfed, as the strongest members of his stable were fired.
