KING AND QUEEN AFTER WRESTLEMANIA 39

It is being reported that WWE will hold two major events in May this year, with the return of the King and Queen of the Ring.

 According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics; on May 6th, Backlash will take place. In recent years, the event has been called WrestleMania Backlash, but this year, the WrestleMania name will be dropped."

 On the 27th of May we will have the return of the King and Queen of the Ring, in an event format. This is no longer a pay per view since 2002, since the tournaments have taken place during the weekly programs.

 It was in 2021 that the Queen's Crown tournament was held for the first time, from which Zelina Vega became the first Queen of the Ring in history. On the same night, Xavier Woods became King of the Ring.
