WWE PREPARES BIG PLANS FOR GIULIA

Giulia has barely arrived at WWE and is already making history. After a remarkable stint in NXT, where she won the developmental brand's women's title, the Japanese fighter quickly rose to the main roster and is now beginning to make a name for herself on SmackDown. At Night of Champions 2025, Giulia defeated Zelina Vega and became the new United States Women's Champion. The victory consolidated what had already been said behind the scenes: WWE is preparing a significant push for the Japanese star, treating her as one of the future central figures of the blue brand's women's division. MERCEDES MONE INJURED

Mercedes Moné was injured in a match against Willow Nightingale in the main event of this month's NJPW Resurgence, in a final for the new NJPW STRONG Women's Championship.

Since then, much has been said about the future of "The CEO", with Tony Khan commenting on her possible presence at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II. However, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp revealed that Mercedes Moné's injury may not be as serious as expected.

After the fight, it was suspected that the fighter would have broken her ankle, but the journalist pointed out that NJPW officials believe it was just a sprain of the ankle, and that it did not break.

However, people who deal closely with Mercedes Moné claim that the ankle is still too swollen to know if there really is something broken, and that only when the swelling subsides can you be sure.

Therefore, even if Mercedes Moné's injury is not as serious as initially feared, it may still be a while before she returns to the ring.
