THE ROCK HAS A "NEW PROJECT" FOR WWE

In the months leading up to WrestleMania 39, there was a lot of speculation that The Rock and Roman Reigns would face each other at the big event.

In an interview with the Pat McAfee Show, The Rock confirmed that he almost faced his cousin at WrestleMania 39, and also spoke about the reasons for one day being able to return to fight in WWE, saying that he wants to "do something new". Honestly, it's not the injury I'm worried about because that's just part of it. It's just part of the game. You sign up. You get hurt. We all get injured. That's the way things are.

It's not even the agenda, because I can control the agenda, because I can control the agenda to a large extent. Coming back to WWE and fighting in a match always comes down to why and what we can create that has never been done before for the fans. So that's the idea. The Rock returned to WWE on last Friday's SmackDown, attacking Austin Theory, but there are no long-term plans yet.
