WES LEE LEAVES NXT

During this Tuesday's NXT, Wes Lee suffered a major defeat, which led to the fighter quitting the show. On yesterday's show, Wes Lee faced Ilja Dragunov for an opportunity to wrestle for NXT Championship by Carmelo Hayes at No Mercy.

Both fighters gave their all but, in the end, it was "The Mad Dragon" who achieved victory and secured the title match against the champion.

Later, after the defeat, Wes Lee was seen cleaning up his things in the locker room. When interviewed, the fighter revealed that he would go home if he wasn't going to compete at No Mercy. When leaving, the fighter still said that "it's over".

Wes Lee had already challenged Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship on the August 22nd Heatwave special, but was unsuccessful. Before that, the wrestler also lost the NXT North American Championship to Dominik Mysterio, and failed to regain it.
