BOOKER T CRITICIZES TONY KHAN'S ATTITUDES
Two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee Booker T has expressed his opinion on Tony Khan's recent social media comments criticizing WWE NXT's ratings. In an interview on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T called Khan's attitude “childish".
Tony Khan, who is known for being uncensored on his social media, made comments about WWE NXT's ratings, comparing them to AEW's. Khan mentioned that it was the first time that John Cena and The Undertaker had appeared in front of less than a million people for WWE.
Booker T commented: “NXT versus AEW, and I have to say, NXT did very well. They got 921k views and AEW got 609k. That’s a big difference.” He continued, criticizing Khan for his comments, suggesting that Khan should think before making such statements, considering that wrestlers like Edge and Christian have also appeared on shows with fewer than 600,000 viewers.
Booker T also questioned Khan's approach, calling it unprofessional. “Doing that kind of thing on the internet, that doesn't seem like something a boss would do, and I've said this before about Tony Khan in terms of being a boss, being a leader. That’s not leadership.”
He concluded by saying that NXT's goal is to develop talent and promote them to the next level, and praised Shawn Michaels' work with the brand, highlighting the creation of magical moments and the promotion of young talent.
