LIV MORGAN IS ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA

Former SmackDown Women's Champion Liv Morgan was arrested on the 14th after a police raid for being in possession of marijuana. She paid bail and was released.

According to Fightful Select, there was no discomfort on WWE's part and it didn't hurt Liv. She has been off television and that hasn't changed her creative plans. She was honest about the situation and there were no issues with her. According to the site, an unidentified Superstar said that everyone liked Liv before, everyone still likes her, they will make jokes about it and before long no one will think about it.

According to PWInsider, the arrest was not generally known before it became public, but several executives were already aware and had spoken to Liv the day after it happened, but kept the information within a small circle of people.

It was also said that Liv already knows when she will return and what her plans are for 2024 and nothing has changed in that regard. What is believed is that she will return during the build-up to WrestleMania 40.

Internally, what happened did not tarnish Liv's reputation, as she was always loved by the company and considered someone who works hard and although, obviously, everyone wants the situation to be resolved as quickly as possible, there is no danger of her being fired, especially considering that there have been many cases in the past of Superstars arrested for impaired driving and remaining with the company and Liv has not been accused of anything seriously criminal like that.

A rumor that also emerged is that Liv was not the owner of the drugs found with her, which belonged to someone else who forgot it in her car. WWE is waiting for the process to resolve the pending investigation and Liv will be heard at a hearing in February.
