ANNA JAY CLOSER TO WWE IN 2026

American wrestler Anna Jay may be heading towards a major career change in her professional wrestling career. According to recent reports, the star's contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is about to expire, and she is open to exploring new opportunities, including a possible contract with WWE.

Anna Jay, who is 27 years old and has been with AEW since April 2020, could become a free agent in the spring of 2026 when her current agreement with Tony Khan's company expires. Sources connected to the Fightful Select website indicate that the wrestler has not yet decided whether to renew with AEW and is willing to look at other options that could boost her career.

Since arriving at All Elite Wrestling, Anna Jay has gone through different phases within the programming and participated in several important groups and storylines, including moments with The Dark Order and the Jericho Appreciation Society, a prominent partnership with Tay Melo forming the tag team TayJay.

In recent months, however, her presence on television shows has decreased, and she hasn't participated in high-profile events like the Blood & Guts Match, which has generated even more speculation about her future.

With her contract nearing its end and the possibility of becoming a free agent, rumors have emerged that WWE may be eyeing Anna Jay, possibly to strengthen the women's roster of its main brand or NXT (developmental brand).

This wouldn't be the first time an AEW star has switched companies; wrestlers like Blake Monroe, Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, and other talents have made this move recently, reinforcing that the rivalry between the two largest wrestling companies is also a field for significant talent movements.
