WWE WRESTLER LUDWIG KAISER ARRESTED IN FLORIDA
WWE wrestler Ludwig Kaiser returned to the spotlight on Thursday after information about his arrest in Florida surfaced.
According to records released by local authorities, Kaiser, whose real name is Marcel Barthel, was charged with "battery," a misdemeanor related to physical assault. The incident allegedly occurred in Orlando after an argument involving another man inside an elevator in a residential building.
According to initial reports, the situation began after the man complained about Kaiser's behavior and that of a woman who was with him in the elevator. The argument reportedly continued in the building's hallway, where the wrestler is accused of assaulting the victim with punches and shoves.
The wrestler turned himself in to the authorities, paid $1,000 bail, and pleaded not guilty to the charges. WWE has not yet released an official statement on the case.
The news spread quickly among wrestling fans, mainly because Kaiser had recently been receiving attention for his appearances related to the WWE and AAA partnership, including his portrayal of the character "El Grande Americano".
