WWE ANNOUNCES UNITED STATES WOMEN'S TITLE

 

WWE announced the creation of the Women's United States Championship during the November 8 episode of SmackDown, held at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis introduced the new title during a pre-recorded backstage video. This development follows the recent introduction of the Women's North American Championship in NXT.

The title was announced following many requests from the pro wrestling community for more women's title opportunities on the main roster.
