After just over a year with All Elite Wrestling, Mariah May is officially out of the company. The British wrestler's name has been removed from AEW's official talent page, thus ending her journey with the company founded by Tony Khan.
Mariah debuted in AEW in November 2023 and quickly stood out by teaming up with then-champion Toni Storm. With a character inspired by the golden era of Hollywood, she won over fans with her charisma and presence in the ring. The highlight of her career was her victory over Storm herself at AEW All In 2024, where she became the company's women's world champion.
In addition, May won the prestigious Owen Hart Foundation tournament and participated in remarkable rivalries, such as her storyline with Mina Shirakawa, which combined romance, drama and intensity in the ring.
Her last match took place at the Revolution event in March of this year, when she was defeated by Toni Storm. Since then, Mariah has not appeared on AEW shows, raising questions about her future, which has now been confirmed with her official departure.
It is not yet known what the next step in the wrestler's career will be, but her time in AEW certainly left an important mark on the company's women's division.
