WWE broadcast another edition of NXT on the CW Network this Tuesday, from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, leading up to the Great American Bash on July 12. RESULTS: Jaida Parker defeated Thea Hail (Evolution Eliminator Match) Lash Legend defeated Kelani Jordan (Evolution Eliminator Match) Elijah, Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura defeated TNA World Champion Trick Williams, Wes Lee & AJ Francis Izzi Dame defeated Zaria (Evolution Eliminator Match) Jordynne Grace defeated Lola Vice (Evolution Eliminator Match) Blake Monroe signs contract with WWE NXT

WWE TO HOLD NEW WAVE OF RELEASES IN 2025

On May 2, 2025, WWE released a series of releases that significantly impacted its main roster and NXT. The releases affected both veterans and rising talent. Below, we present the full list of professionals released by the company on that date:

🧾 FULL LIST OF RELEASES ON MAY 2, 2025

Braun Strowman – Former Universal and Intercontinental Champion, this was his second departure from WWE. Since his return in 2022, he had been used sporadically, without major opportunities on the main card.

Dakota Kai – Member of the Damage CTRL faction, Kai had notable stints in both NXT and the main roster, winning tag team titles in both divisions. He has recently struggled with injuries, including a concussion in January 2025.

Cora Jade – Considered a promising NXT performer, Jade suffered an ACL injury in January 2024, returning at the end of the year. She participated in important rivalries for the NXT Women's Title, but faced new injuries in 2025. 

Gigi Dolin – Former member of Toxic Attraction, Dolin stood out in NXT, winning the NXT Women's Tag Team Title twice. She was part of the stable called Chemical X where she was partnered with Tatum Paxley and Shotzi. After leaving WWE, she appeared in TNA Wrestling, demonstrating her quick reinsertion into the professional wrestling scene. 

Eddy Thorpe – Known for his technical style, Thorpe was released along with other NXT talents. 

Katana Chance (Kacy Catanzaro) – Former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, Chance had a notable career in the women's division, being known for her agility and acrobatic style. 

Kayden Carter – Longtime partner of Katana Chance, together they won the NXT and WWE Women's Tag Team Titles. 

 Shayna Baszler – Former NXT Champion and WWE Tag Team Champion, Baszler was one of the most dominant wrestlers in the women's division, known for her aggressive and technical style. 

Gallus (Mark Coffey, Joe Coffey and Wolfgang) – Scottish trio that excelled in NXT UK and NXT, known for their physical and dominant style. 

Jakara Jackson – A member of NXT, Jackson was part of the Meta-Four faction and participated in several rivalries in the women's division alongside her partner Lash Legend
