WWE NXT WILL BE HELD IN ECW ARENA

WWE is experiencing solid growth, especially after NXT moved to The CW earlier this month. With three shows already under The CW banner, it looks like WWE is planning another special episode of NXT in the near future.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE has booked the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, although the exact date has not been confirmed. It is believed that the show will take place on November 6, which would be a television taping of NXT on a Wednesday, the day after the United States election. The 2300 Arena, formerly known as Viking Hall, was the venue for ECW shows from 1993 to 2001. This would be the first time NXT would perform at this historic venue.

While the date has not been officially confirmed, many have already confirmed that the show will take place. NXT will air on a night outside of its regular schedule, likely competing with AEW. NXT’s appearance at the famed “ECW Arena” for the first time is expected to generate buzz and help boost the show’s ratings.

NXT’s likely return to the famed ECW Arena should be beneficial for next month’s show. It’s possible that AEW will try to counter this move by putting on a high-profile show.
