AJ STYLES HONORED AT LIVE EVENT IN JAPAN

At WWE's Japan Supershow, held at Ryogoku Kokugikan, AJ Styles received an emotional farewell from the Japanese crowd after defeating Kofi Kingston in the main event. CM Punk introduced Styles, stating that this could have been his last match in Japan, a move that moved the audience.

Styles took the microphone and dedicated words of gratitude to the Japanese fans. He explained that he sent a message translated into Japanese to ensure the audience heard his feelings. Shinsuke Nakamura read the translation to the crowd, along with Styles's own words. The wrestler said that part of his heart will always remain in Japan and thanked them for the trust, energy, and love for wrestling he received there.

At the end of the night, the wrestling community celebrated the moment. Ivar and CM Punk hoisted AJ Styles onto their shoulders while the audience gave a standing ovation. The event reinforced Styles' legacy in Japan, where, between 2014 and 2015, he was one of NJPW's biggest stars and twice won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

With AJ Styles confirming his intention to retire in 2026, this tribute in Japan takes on even more symbolic weight for fans and promoters alike. It's a moment of recognition for the career of a wrestler who left behind
