JACOB FATU COULD RETURN BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR

Wrestler "Samoan Werewolf" Jacob Fatu remains sidelined in the WWE ring, but his return is expected to be positive. Initially scheduled to face Drew McIntyre on the San Jose episode of WWE SmackDown, Fatu was eventually removed from the storyline, according to WrestlingObserver journalist Bryan Alvarez, within WWE, it is believed that Jacob Fatu may be ready to return by December.

Although rumors circulated that the hiatus could extend until mid-2026, there are more substantive reports. According to journalist Mike Johnson, Fatu is unable to compete due to a dental procedure, not a more serious injury. On the other hand, journalist Cory Hays mentioned that an absence "until mid-2026" was a possibility, and according to CEO Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, these rumors have not yet been confirmed by official WWE sources.

If Jacob Fatu does indeed return before the end of the year, this paves the way for him to be reintegrated into impactful storylines such as the already announced rivalry with Drew McIntyre. His prolonged absence could have implications not only for the fight schedule, but also for the construction of storylines and possible bets on titles or top feuds. For fans, it remains to wait for official confirmation from WWE about the exact date of his return, as well as any changes in the fighter's physical condition or status.
