CM Punk found himself locked alone inside the WWE office in Stamford, Connecticut during Backlash. Punk is currently recovering from a torn triceps suffered at the Royal Rumble.
Because of this, he was unable to compete at WWE Backlash in France and instead appeared during the pre-show to commentate on the night's matches. After fulfilling his role for the day, things took a strange turn for the Straight Edge Superstar.
In a post on social media, Punk admitted by surprise that he had been locked inside the bathroom at WWE headquarters. To make matters worse, when he finally broke free, the star discovered that there was no one else in the building, he couldn't get out, and he had missed his flight home.
It was then that Punk took to social media to tell fans of his plans to “perform a Phantom of the Opera style prank” and see how long it would take for someone to realize he was there. After some time at the gym, he walked around the building to see what he could find and ended his video by taking a low blow to a statue of Andre The Giant.
