ALEXA BLISS SIGNS NEW CONTRACT WITH WWE

Alexa Bliss returned to WWE during the 2025 Royal Rumble in Indianapolis, entering as the 21st entrant in the Women's Royal Rumble Match, this was her first in-ring appearance since the 2023 Royal Rumble, when she faced Bianca Belair for the RAW Women's Championship.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio has some insight into the contract negotiations, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided further details on Bliss's contract status. Her contract was nearing its end, considering the breaks and time away. WWE opted not to put her on TV without a new deal, avoiding potential complications if they could not come to an agreement.

During the Royal Rumble broadcast, Michael Cole addressed the online speculation about Bliss's status, citing reports that she would not be in Indianapolis for the event, sources close to the deal confirmed the signing of the new contract during and after his appearance at the Royal Rumble.
