ELEKTRA LOPEZ DISMISSED FROM WWE

WWE continues to make cuts to its roster, and the latest to be let go is Elektra Lopez. The information was released by PWInsider and later confirmed by other specialized media outlets. 

Elektra Lopez, whose real name is Karissa Rivera, joined WWE in February 2021. She made her NXT debut in June of the same year, adopting the ring name Elektra Lopez. In August 2021, she joined the group Legado Del Fantasma, led by Santos Escobar, standing out as the first woman to join the faction. 

During her time in NXT, Lopez was involved in notable rivalries, including confrontations with the group Hit Row. In September 2021, she faced B-Fab in a No Disqualification match, solidifying her position in the NXT women's division. In January 2024, Elektra Lopez returned to Legado Del Fantasma on SmackDown, assisting Santos Escobar in a victory over Carlito. However, her time on the main roster was brief.

Elektra Lopez's release comes amid a series of cuts WWE has made recently, affecting several talents at different levels within the company. To date, WWE has not released an official statement regarding the specific reasons for these layoffs. With her departure, Elektra Lopez joins other names who have recently left WWE, and her future in the world of professional wrestling remains uncertain.
