WWE LAYOFFS WAVE

WWE made a new wave of layoffs this Saturday, resulting in the departure of several wrestlers from the roster. The information was released by Sean Ross Sapp, from Fightful, although the company has not yet made an official announcement.

So far, the names confirmed to have left WWE are:

Cedric Alexander
Akam & Rezar
Paul Ellering
Sonya Deville
Blair Davenport

Cedric Alexander was one of the first to comment on his departure, posting on X/Twitter a message of gratitude for the eight and a half years in WWE and stating that he will continue to fight as long as God allows.

However, Sonya Deville's case seems to be different. According to reports, WWE did not directly release her, but decided not to renew her contract, allowing her to sign with any other company when her contract expires in the coming weeks. These layoffs follow the recent cut of Duke Hudson, indicating that WWE may be undergoing further roster adjustments.
