THE ROCK ANNOUNCES DATE AND LOCATION FOR WRESTLEMANIA 42

During Friday's SmackDown, The Rock was on hand to announce the date and location of WrestleMania 42, which will take place next year. After a standing ovation from the fans in the arena, The Rock revealed that WrestleMania 42 will take place on April 11 and 12, 2026, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

However, according to The Rock, the initial plan was to reveal the big news during Super Bowl LIX, which also took place in New Orleans. At the post-SmackDown press conference, the "Final Boss" stated:

"We were going to be part of the Super Bowl and announce WrestleMania 42 at the Super Bowl. We had some setbacks and we couldn't make it happen."

Despite the change of plans, the announcement ended up happening in style on SmackDown, leaving fans excited for next year's event.
