SHEAMUS RETURNING ON THE NEXT WWE RAW
An announcement made during Friday night's SmackDown took social media by storm, confirming Sheamus' return date to WWE programming. A vignette shown during the show announced that the “Celtic Warrior” will be present on RAW next Monday, April 15th. Details about plans for his return are still unknown, but the news, after 238 days of the fighter's absence, excited fans.
Sheamus has been absent since August 2023, recovering from a serious shoulder injury suffered during the company's farewell match with then Edge, now known as Adam Copeland and TNT champion in AEW. In the meantime, his stable with Ridge Holland and Butch (now Pete Dunne), Brawling Brutes, came to an end, with Holland abandoning Dunne, who today forms the “New Catch Republic” alongside Tyler Bate.
A promotional video of the former world champion had already been shown during the last RAW, where he declared that “the time to fight is now”. With an illustrious career spanning more than a decade, Sheamus is already in WWE history, having won King of the Ring, Royal Rumble, Money In The Bank, and world titles on several occasions.
Before the injury, the “Celtic Warrior” was aiming for the intercontinental belt, which indicates possible interference in the title fight between Sami Zayn and Chad Gable, scheduled for the next red brand show.
