WWE HAS DATE AND PLACE FOR ROYAL RUMBLE 2026
Conceived by Pat Patterson in 1988, the 30-man one-on-one battle royale has been a fan favorite since its debut at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. After the huge success of WrestleMania XL, many fans and industry insiders are wondering where WWE will host one of its biggest shows.
While there is no official confirmation on the location of the event, there are reports that Milwaukee is in contention to host WWE's first PLE in 2026. The news also reveals that state officials hope to bring “one of professional wrestling's biggest shows to the American Family Field.”
Apparently, CBS 58 has learned that state leaders have been in talks with the company to propose holding a “future Royal Rumble” at the stadium, “once it is winterized.” The report notes that winterization will occur after the 2025 baseball season, making 2026 the earliest possible year for the Rumble to take place there.
American Family Field is the baseball stadium of the Milwaukee Brewers, a Major League Baseball team. The 41,900-capacity stadium has a retractable roof and is reportedly being considered as the venue. Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson took to social media to express his desire to host an event of this magnitude at the stadium.
"...@AmFamField become the 19th top-grossing stadium for concerts in the United States, and 35th in the world..."

This will help to drive more concerts, attention, vibrancy, and development here. I wouldn't be surprised if @WWE found interest here too.https://t.co/kLgOLv1cFB
