BECKY LYNCH RETURN HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Becky Lynch was scheduled to make her WWE return during Raw, but the segment was canceled in favor of a Hall of Famer's appearance. Lynch has been away from the company since May 2024, following her loss to Liv Morgan in a steel cage match. Focusing on other projects and family life, Lynch has not made any wrestling-related appearances in the past 6 months.

With many believing that The Man's return to WWE was inevitable and the company looking to make Raw's Netflix debut as big as possible, there was high anticipation that Lynch would be one of several surprise appearances on the night. However, after the 3-hour show, Lynch did not appear. According to a new report, there was a plan for the former Women's Champion to return on the show.

As seen on Raw, Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan to become the new Women's World Champion, receiving an endorsement from The Undertaker after the match. According to Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net, Lynch was originally scheduled to return as Ripley instead of the Undertaker:

“What I initially heard is that Becky Lynch was scheduled to appear tonight. She was in town. She was scheduled to appear inside that women’s world championship segment. But instead, you had the Undertaker appearing.”
