EDDY THORPE AND LOLA VICE SECURE NXT TITLE SHOT
Following NXT New Year's Evil, WWE continues to showcase the talents of its developmental brand with action-packed events. During the last live events, held in Florida, the two winners of the men's and women's division challenges were determined.
On Friday in Dade City, Lola Vice won an NXT Women's Rumble to become the number one contender for the NXT Women's Championship, winning after facing names like Nikkita Lyons and Stephanie Vaquer, but the celebration was interrupted by NXT Women's Champion, Giulia. The champion, who defeated Roxanne Perez at New Year's Evil, showed up unexpectedly to confront Lola, promising an intense showdown whose date is eagerly awaited.
On Saturday in Jacksonville, it was Eddy Thorpe's turn to shine by winning a Men's Battle Royal, securing the position as the next challenger for the NXT Championship. He now faces newly crowned champion Oba Femi, who triumphed at New Year’s Evil in a Triple Threat Match against Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe himself.
With both challenges marked by intense rivalries and high expectations, NXT continues to build exciting narratives for its emerging talent.
