WWE PLANNING ROYAL RUMBLE IN SAUDI ARABIA

In May of last year, it was reported that Saudi Arabia was interested in holding an edition of WrestleMania or Royal Rumble in the country, and it looks like this will actually happen next year.

According to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, the Royal Rumble could be about to reach an international milestone in 2026 as it is set to be held in Saudi Arabia. The deal between the two parties is already closed and an official announcement is expected for next Monday's Raw, during its premiere on Netflix.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp adds that WWE has been developing layouts for the arena that will host the Royal Rumble for several months, and although it has not yet been confirmed, it should be in the city of Riyadh. This decision is part of the 10-year partnership between WWE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which runs until 2028. Since the start of the agreement, WWE has held 12 premium live events and two television tapings in the country.

According to SES reports, each event generates around $50 million for the company, solidifying the partnership as a financial success. The possibility of bringing the Royal Rumble to Saudi Arabia in 2026 brings a new level of anticipation and global expansion for WWE. Meanwhile, fans eagerly await the 2025 Royal Rumble, scheduled for February 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Indiana.
