Very recently, WWE confirmed that the 2026 edition of the Royal Rumble will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with no date yet set for the event. As seen in the event's promotional video, CM Punk was not present, which left fans apprehensive. Furthermore, CM Punk is one of the Superstars who does not intend to attend WWE events in Saudi Arabia, at least for now.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, WWE will not request CM Punk's presence at the 2026 Royal Rumble, due to all these circumstances. In addition to next year's Royal Rumble, the journalist said that WWE will not ask CM Punk to appear at any shows in Saudi Arabia.
