VINCE MCMAHON WANTS TO SELL WWE

Vince McMahon's departure from WWE last July was one of the biggest news of the year, after a series of news and scandals that put the former president of the company in a difficult position.

The decision was taken after the Wall Street Journal published an article in which Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis were accused of paying 20 million dollars to a WWE official, to buy her silence.

More recently, the same newspaper reported that Vince McMahon is regretting the decision, having confessed to some close people that he plans to return to WWE, but several officials do not want him back.

Now, the Wall Street Journal advances that the former WWE president hopes to return to it soon, to lead a process of selling the company.

Vince McMahon is said to be using his majority shareholder power to elect himself, George Barrios and Michelle Wilson to the WWE Board of Directors.

In a letter sent to WWE executives, Vince McMahon states that there is a great opportunity for WWE to be sold for good value, as the television rights to Raw and SmackDown are about to be renegotiated.

In reaction to this possible comeback and sale, WWE's stock market price has already risen by around 11%, from around $72 to around $80.
