DOMINIK MYSTERIO INVADES AAA

On the night of July 25th, at the AAA Alianzas event held in Mexico City, Dominik Mysterio, the current WWE Intercontinental Champion, made a surprise entrance that left the arena in shock. After an open challenge from Hijo del Vikingo to defend the AAA Mega Championship, Dragon Lee answered the call, but was abruptly interrupted by El Grande Americano. At that moment, a hooded man dressed in black entered the scene, attacked both men, and then revealed himself as Dominik Mysterio. He stated that he wasn't there just to cause chaos: he wanted to win the belt and become the "King of Luchadores." He then posed in the ring holding both the Mega Championship and his WWE Intercontinental Championship.

With the tension in the air, AAA officially announced the match for the upcoming TripleMania XXXIII, scheduled for August 16th at Arena CDMX. It will be a fatal four-way match involving Hijo del Vikingo (current champion), Dragon Lee, El Grande Americano, and Dominik Mysterio.

Dominik also has a WWE commitment at SummerSlam, where he will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles. This could put him at the center of a historic moment: simultaneously winning the WWE and AAA belts.

The reaction in Mexico was explosive: fans cheered Mysterio's presence and celebrated intensely when he left the ring as the official face of the new match. AAA's decision to authorize this invasion and include the WWE star on the card paves the way for crossovers between the two companies at a time when WWE owns 51% of the Mexican promotion and expects to complete the acquisition by 2025.

On Twitter, WWE executive Triple H praised the event and called Dominik a star, mentioning the crowd's excitement during the Alianzas and promoting the TripleMania event scheduled for August 16th.
