PSYCHO CLOWN IS PACKING HIS BAGS FOR WWE

During a July 4 event at Arena Neza (Mexico State), it was announced that this would be PsychoClown's last appearance at the venue, with WWE being revealed as his next professional destination.

At the show, the legendary Lucha Libre clown joined forces with El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Niño Hamburguesa to face former Psycho Circus teammates Murder Clown, Panic Clown and Dave The Clown in a symbolic match that marked his farewell.

PsychoClown has already confirmed his presence at WWE events, appearing at the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide special on June 7, as well as NXT broadcasts. According to Ringside News, WWE is strongly interested in bringing him to the main roster, recognizing his charisma and great marketing potential.

PsychoClown, stage name of Brazo dePlata Jr., is a AAA legend. Born on December 16, 1985 in Mexico City, he is part of the traditional Alvarado family. His look, a clown mask with a red mohawk and plastic tongue, and his original alliance with Monster and Murder Clown, made him a central figure in AAA, with appearances in at least six editions of Triplemanía (XXIV to XXXI).

In addition, his achievements include the AAA Latin American Championship, the AAA World Tag Team Championship and the AAA World Trios Championship. On the international level, he won the 2017 Lucha Libre World Cup alongside Pagano.

With his contract practically confirmed, it remains to be seen which WWE programs he will be assigned to: NXT, RAW or SmackDown. Many fans speculate that his charismatic qualities and high-flying style could fit well on the main brand, but time will tell whether he will continue as a heel (rudo) or face (technician), and which rivalries he will be included in.

The fact is that the transition of such an iconic figure of Mexican wrestling to the global giant WWE promises to be a milestone both for the wrestler and for the exposure of Lucha Libre on a global stage.
