TONY KHAN ANNOUNCED THE INAUGURAL AEW CONTINENTAL CLASSIC TOURNAMENT
During this Saturday's Collision, Tony Khan announced the inaugural AEW Continental Classic Tournament, which will feature Bryan Danielson. Backstage on yesterday's show, Tony Khan appeared alongside Bryan Danielson to announce the first edition of the Continental Classic, a tournament made up of 12 participants.
The tournament will last six weeks, with two groups of six fighters each, who will compete in a New Japan Pro-Wrestling G1 Climax-style tournament. The Continental Classic Tournament will start on November 22nd, on Dynamite. The grand final is scheduled for December 30th, at Worlds End, which will be in Long Island, New York.
Furthermore, it was also announced that one of the 12 competitors in this tournament will be Bryan Danielson himself, who is practically recovered from his injury.
