TRIPLE H COMMENTS ON CM PUNK WWE’S RETURN

This Saturday's Survivor Series ended with CM Punk's grand return to WWE, long desired by fans, especially after his departure from AEW.

The song "Cult of Personality" played and CM Punk appeared in the entrance area, driving fans crazy and triggering various reactions around the world. At the press conference after Survivor Series, Triple H commented on CM Punk's return to WWE and talked about how it all happened.

"This is one of those "light in a bottle" moments that came very quickly. We are incredibly excited about this. It's been a long time, and in some ways it's been a long time coming.

You can say that about CM Punk; love him, hate him, positive, negative, whatever you want to say, people talk about him all the time. He's a magnet for it, he's a conversation starter, and it's hard to ignore that. To me, if our fans want it, if the WWE Universe is excited to have it, then let's do it, and we'll figure out the rest from there.

This happened super fast, and I'm sure that's why it was so secret. There was a lot of speculation there and, at that point, it was nothing more than speculation. Most of the time it was speculation, it didn't come to fruition until everyone stopped thinking it was going to happen, and then suddenly it was happening when you meet the person you don't like on the subway just like you vocal to know more

Extremely excited, a lot of time has passed, almost ten years. If you're the same person you were ten years ago, ten years later, you screwed up. Everyone grows, everyone changes. I'm a different person, he's a different person. This is a different company. We are all at the same starting point.

What's next for CM Punk? This will be interesting, won't it? I'm interested in seeing that. I know whatever it is, it will be talked about, it will be exciting and it will be an emotional ride for the WWE Universe no matter what it is. I'm thrilled, we're all thrilled to have him back here, cliché, to have him back home in WWE. That's where he belongs."

Triple H also clarified that there was no pressure from TKO for CM Punk's return to WWE to happen, and that very few people knew, as the group trusts the people who lead the company.
