WILL CM PUNK BE A "FREE AGENT" IN WWE?

CM Punk, who made a highly anticipated return to WWE at Survivor Series and cut a promo on this week's WWE RAW, has been internally listed on the WWE roster as a free agent. This means Punk has the freedom to appear on any of the WWE brands, including NXT, if he wishes.

 Punk's free agent status comes after his nearly 10-year absence from WWE RAW, generating great anticipation about his future appearances and rivalries. It has yet to be confirmed which brand Punk will focus on, but his free agent status offers several intriguing possibilities for fans and WWE itself.

Randy Orton, who also returned at Survivor Series, appears to be in a similar situation, with scheduled appearances on both SmackDown and RAW. Other notable free agents include Brock Lesnar, United States Champion Logan Paul, Von Wagner and Omos.
