AEW DARK ELEVATION ARE OFFICIALLY CLOSED

After signs that AEW Dark: Elevation ended with last week's "best of" episode, this week we received no new editions of that show or AEW's original YouTube series Dark.

With reports of a new two-hour show believed to be called Collision coming to TNT on Saturdays, an increased house show schedule and Ring of Honor's weekly streaming show already offering the kind of matches fans associate with " Darks", AEW/ROH's schedule is already full.

Andrew Zarian of Mat Men hinted at the possible reason for the demise (at least for now) of Dark and Dark: Elevation. He posted:

“AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation are over for now. This in part has to do with AEW signing a new contract for AEW Collision to air on Saturdays. Part of the new deal is that AEW Wrestling content will air exclusively on WBD. At this time, this does not include ROH.”

There has been no announcement from AEW regarding the status of the two online shows or the arrival of the Saturday night show. It's possible Khan wants to announce them together and could be holding back on Collision news.
