WWE broadcast another edition of NXT on the CW Network this Tuesday, from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, leading up to the Great American Bash on July 12. IMPERIUM CLOSE TO RECEIVING A NEW MEMBER

Yet another talent in WWE may be ready to discover that the ring is sacred as a new member of the Imperium.

 According to Better Wrestling Experience (also known as BoozerRasslin), WWE is considering adding a new member to join GUNTHER and company, with Ilja Dragunov being "considered to join the Imperium later on". There wasn't a timeline on when Dragunov might join the group, only that he's being considered within WWE.

 Imperium has been a faction in WWE since 2019 and currently consists of GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. Alexander Wolfe was originally part of the stable until he was kicked out of Imperium in May 2021. He left WWE shortly after when his contract expired.

 Ilja Dragunov and GUNTHER have a long history in WWE and the European independent wrestling scene. They had NXT UK Title matches in 2020 and 2021 and Dragunov ended Gunther's (then known as WALTER) 870-day reign as NXT UK Champion at NXT TakeOver 36.

 Dragunov is currently part of the NXT roster, but there are rumors that he will eventually make it to the main roster.
