RANDY ORTON COMPLETES A YEAR OUT OF THE RINGS

On May 20, 2022, the former RAW Tag Team Champions, Randy Orton and Matt Riddle, faced the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos, in a match for the unification of the titles, where they were defeated by The Bloodline members. 

 After that show and the tough loss of the tag team titles, Orton never appeared on a WWE show again. The cause is a serious back injury, so far his status is unknown in the WWE, as many have even advised him to retire from the rings, however, his recovery has been showing good signs lately, which may still be a light at the end of the tunnel.
