WWE STARTS HIRING AMERICAN ATHLETE
Announced in an ESPN report, Tamyra Mensah-Stock has signed with WWE, Tamyra Mensah-Stock gained more media attention after competing in the 2021 Tokyo games where she won the gold medal.
Mensah-Stock made history in Tokyo as the first black woman to win gold in wrestling, competing in the under 68kg category. She told ESPN that she reported to the WWE Performance Center on Monday and her goal is to be on the main roster within a year, she joins another Tokyo Olympic gold medalist in the WWE recruiting pool, Gable Steveson.
However, Steveson opted to continue fighting outside the realm of sports entertainment, rumored to be training for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
