DREW MCINTYRE RETURNS?

Drew McIntyre has been absent since WrestleMania 39, and since then there have been rumors that he may be leaving WWE when his contract expires.

After several rumors about the former world champion's future, in the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer stated that the "Scottish Warrior" should return at Money in the Bank on July 1st.

The journalist confirmed that Drew McIntyre will soon return to WWE, and that although it is still being discussed when the definitive date of his return will be, those responsible want the Scotsman to return in Money in the Bank or in the SmackDown that precedes it.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider also "confirmed" these rumors, pointing out that the former world champion could return during the tour that WWE will do in the United Kingdom during the week before Money in the Bank.
