SGT. SLAUGHTER CRITICIZES LACEY EVANS LOOK AND FINISHING MOVE
In early June, Sgt. Slaughter had previously criticized Lacey Evans for wearing a look that was too similar to his own.
This time, in an interview with Sportskeeda, the Hall of Famer expanded on his criticism and showed his disapproval for Lacey Evans also using the Cobra Clutch as a finisher.
"I don't watch WWE as much as I used to. I watch Raw because SmackDown has Lacey Evans.
It doesn't bother me because I know she can't do the Cobra Clutch like I can, but it's just the idea that she's using my gulp without asking. At least, I thought someone would call me and ask, "Do you mind if I use the Cobra Clutch?
Or maybe we call it something else, because Ted DiBiase when he was doing it, he called it the Million Dollar Dream. She could have come up with another name, for example when I came back in 1990 I ended up using the Camel Clutch, because Ted DiBiase was using my move.
I asked the Iron Sheik if it was okay to use your move. That's how the business worked. We respected the people we worked with."
