WWE PROHIBITS EVENTS IN ARENAS USED BY AEW

Despite not being openly confirmed, since the creation of AEW there has been a "dispute" between it and WWE, which is natural between competitors. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that WWE prohibits arenas from hosting AEW events weeks before their own.

There are arenas that rent their space for events from both companies, and in this case, WWE has a clause that does not allow AEW to have an event in that arena in the weeks leading up to theirs.

In addition to this ban, WWE also obliges these arenas, if they have an AEW event in the near future, to only be able to advertise and promote it after the WWE event has already taken place.
