WWE TAG TEAM TITLES SPLIT?

A major transformation appears to be approaching for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships.

The WWE tag team belts have been consolidated since The Usos beat RK-Bro for the Raw Tag Team Titles on May 20, 2022. Jey and Jimmy had already been SmackDown Tag Team Champions for almost a year when they won the Raw tag team belts to form the Championships. of WWE Undisputed Tag Teams.

WWE has since highlighted the division between Raw and SmackDown again with the 2023 Draft, but the tag team titles have remained unified until now, allowing the champions to appear on both main shows.

However, that's about to change, according to a report from Better Wrestling Experience, which states that the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships will be split "very soon." How WWE plans to split the titles has not yet been revealed.

Judgment Day's Finn Balor and Damian Priest are the current champions, having defeated Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the belts in a Steel City Street Fight at the Payback pay-per-view event. KO and Zayn had been champions since WrestleMania 39, when they defeated The Usos in the main event of the first night.
