CM PUNK IS INJURED DURING ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Punk suffered an injury during this Saturday's Royal Rumble Match, although the nature or severity of the injury is unknown, he is expected on tonight's RAW to resolve the issue.

“His exact injury has not been confirmed by those at WWE after many have confirmed the injury and that as of now the plan is to have him at the Tampa show to address the nature of the injury. Within WWE, speculation was of a triceps separation, but no one close enough to the situation would confirm anything other than a significant injury to be treated on the show. There was a point in the Rumble where the referee checked Punk and told the referee “My triceps,” Meltzer reported.

Remembering that the Royal Rumble Match was CM Punk's debut televised match since his return, before that he had fought against Dominik Mysterio in a live event at MSG where it was not broadcast, some viewers present in the arena stated that during the Royal Rumble Male, Punk was panting and sluggish, suggesting from his tiredness that he was out of shape.

Could it be that the Best In The World days are numbered?
