SETH ROLLINS MAY HAVE SUFFERED INJURY ON WWE RAW

Seth Rollins reportedly suffered an injury during his main event title defense against Jinder Mahal on the January 15 edition of RAW.

Rollins was ushered backstage by WWE officials following his triumph over Mahal, and PWTorch reported that Rollins was seen limping backstage, apparently having injured his left leg during the match. Rollins is scheduled to be evaluated by WWE medical staff to determine the extent of any damage.

On an edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shared the following information regarding Rollins' condition:

“I just know he’s having an MRI… basically, they told me it could be something mild, it could be something worse. We won’t know until the MRI results come back,” Meltzer said.

Seth Rollins is not scheduled to wrestle in the upcoming WWE Royal Rumble on January 27, and if Rollins has indeed suffered an injury that will prevent him from competing, WWE may keep him out of the ring ahead of a rumored title match at WrestleMania XL against CM Punk.
