UPDATE ON THE ROCK'S WWE STATUS IN 2024

Since making his return on Monday Night RAW on January 1st, The Rock has been one of the top names tipped to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL, in Philadelphia, even though the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship may not be up for grabs. 

 The premium live event that will precede the “Grandest Stage of Them All”, the WWE Elimination Chamber, which will be held in Perth, Australia, in February, is a big unknown in this sense, as both are not being announced for the same. In Rock's case the situation is more embarrassing as it was previously reported that Australian Tourism was offering a large amount of money to have him at the event. For Reigns, this would be the first time in many years that the company's mainstay would not appear in the “pre-WrestleMania”.

 According to Steve Carrier, from Ringside News, both are not being listed by the company to appear in Australia in February, so if they face each other in April, the WWE Elimination Chamber will not be part of this story.
