WWE NAMES POSSIBLE NEW SUPERSTARS

WWE takes a strict approach to trademarking ring names in order to own the rights to them, which often results in wrestlers coming in and having their names changed. Recently, WWE applied to register some new trademarks for ring names, including 'Jazmyn Nyx', 'Carlee Bright' and 'Lainey Reid'.

The description for trademark registration is as follows:

“Trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer, provided through broadcast media, including television and radio, and via the internet or online service commercial; providing news and information about wrestling via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment through an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for members of the wrestling fan club; organization of social entertainment events for fan club members; Providing Online Newsletters in Sports Entertainment Fields; online newspapers, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

Chase U's Jade Gentile will go by the ring name Jazmyn Nyx, and TyLynn Register will compete as Lainey Reid (both have only competed in live events thus far). It is not yet known who will be named after Carlee Bright.
