UPDATE ON FINN BALOR'S POSSIBLE INJURY
Finn Bálor left last Saturday's Elimination Chamber still Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion, but it looked like he might have been injured. The Irish fighter and Damian Priest achieved a great victory in a Tag Team Match against the New Catch Republic (Tyler Bate & Pete Dunne).
After the fight, it was visible that the Judgment Day member had an injury to his thumb, bleeding from it, which led to speculation that he could have lost his finger or simply suffered a cut to it.
This would have happened after some excellent work by Pete Dunne on his opponent's fingers, as is his habit in all fights. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez clarified that "everything is fine" with Finn Bálor. Despite the small injury, the fighter managed to make it look much bigger than it really was. In other words, it is not expected that Finn Bálor will have to leave the ring due to this minor thumb injury.
It appears that something happened to Finn Balor’s thumb, hopefully nothing serious.#WWEChamber pic.twitter.com/H1aUmmQuZ5
