During this Wednesday's Dynamite, it was announced that Jeff Hardy and Sammy Guevara will face each other at Rampage this coming Friday. According to some videos published on social media, the "Charismatic Enigma" may have been injured in his clash against the "Spanish God".
Sammy Guevara hit a Shooting Star Press on Jeff Hardy, but unfortunately one of his knees hit the veteran in the face, who was quickly assisted by the referee. According to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, Jeff Hardy was bleeding from his nose and after a conversation with the referee and the doctor in the arena, the two fighters ended the fight quickly.
In the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that he had not yet been able to determine the severity of the injury, but that Jeff Hardy was KO after this botch.
